Vice president of Operations and Information Systems experienced in:
In my professional experience as a bank executive, good governance is best served by periodic change when it comes to audit and oversight. The incumbent has been in office for three terms (12 years), and is seeking a fourth term which can lead to influences and biases that compromise impartiality and professional judgment. I will bring a needed fresh set of eyes to the Auditor’s Office to ensure DuPage County remains accountable, transparent and responsive to its citizens.
I will use my experience in bank management, fraud mitigation, information technology and business operations to provide effective leadership and oversight in the Auditor's Office.
Good oversight of other county offices requires an auditor free of political influences, independent and non-partisan. Unlike the incumbent, I will bring a fresh set of eyes to the Auditor's Office which is uncompromised by decades of personal, party and political influences.
Jeff and his wife Mary are both lifelong residents of DuPage County and live in Downers Grove. They have three grown children, one of whom serves in the United States Air Force. They became grandparents to twins in 2019. Jeff received his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Northern Illinois University. Jeff is also a certificated commercial pilot and flight instructor, and actively flies and instructs. He is a board member of the Chicago Glider Club, and serves as the treasurer of Chicagoland Glider Council.
